Overview

LASER’s Personal Progress qualifications are at Entry 1 and are offered in three different sizes. Appropriate for learners with learning difficulties or disabilities, these qualifications provide a foundation for lifelong learning.

Units on numeracy, literacy and ICT are available as options. These qualifications are ‘nested’ qualifications (i.e. credits achieved for an Award can contribute towards achievement of a Certificate etc.).

Qualification specifications Rules of Combination The learner must achieve a minimum of 8 credits. The credits may be taken from any combination of units within the qualification.

The suite of qualifications has been designed to accommodate a wide range of learners working at Entry Level 1 or below.

They are available to learners of any age.
