The LASER Level 4 Diploma in Shiatsu qualification provides the knowledge and skills required to be competent to provide Shiatsu to clients. It is suitable for those who wish to pursue a career using Shiatsu as part of a complementary therapy offer and for those looking to develop their personal interest in Shiatsu.
Shiatsu is a touch-based therapy during which pressure is applied to areas of the body through loose clothing for the purpose of promoting and maintaining wellbeing. It is designed to treat a range of musculo-skeletal and stress-related problems.
Suitable for 18+ learners who wish to become a qualified, nationally recognised Shiatsu practitioner
This qualification has been fully mapped to the following Skills for Health National Occupational Standards: CNH1 Explore and establish the client’s needs for complementary and natural healthcare; CNH2 Develop and agree plans for complementary and natural healthcare with clients; CNH13 Provide Shiatsu to clients
Well-suited to those who are aged 18+ who wish to pursue a career in the field of Shiatsu or use Shiatsu as part of their complementary therapy offer
The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) deem learners successfully completing this qualification eligible to apply to register with CNHC

Registrations can be made at any time during the year

Rules of Combination
To achieve the LASER Level 4 Diploma in Shiatsu the learner must achieve 100 credits from the 5 mandatory units.
