QAA awards first tranche of Access licence renewals to Laser Learning Awards

We are delighted to announce that following the March 2026 meeting of Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA)’s Board, Laser Learning Awards has received its renewed licence to operate as an Access Validating Agency (AVA), for the next five years.

This renewal is a powerful endorsement of our quality, consistency, and leadership in the sector. As the QAA confirmed, “this decision reflects Laser Learning Awards’ compliance with the Access to HE Conditions” reinforcing the strength and reliability of our provision.

Our track record speaks for itself! Laser Learning Awards has been at the forefront of Access to HE since the very beginning, not just participating in the system, but helping to shape it. As a founding AVA, we have worked in partnership with the QAA since it first formally recognised Access to HE provision in 1997, building a reputation for excellence that has stood the test of time.

With a licence that has been consistently renewed through rigorous QAA monitoring, we continue to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and learner success.
