We are currently looking for a creative, highly organised and analytical Marketing Officer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who not only excels at creating engaging marketing content, but also thrives on using data and insights to inform strategy and measure impact.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing digital and print marketing materials, supporting product launches and promotional campaigns, and contributing to research that helps shape our services.

Principal Responsibilities

Create and monitor marketing collateral

  1. Develop, monitor and maintain the LASER website, including creating and uploading new content, producing analytic reports on defined success metrics, providing analysis and recommendations, and monitoring and optimising SEO.

  2. Develop, monitor and maintain the various platforms used to promote and/or supply LASER products and services, including creating and uploading new content, issuing certificates, producing analytic reports on defined success metrics, and providing analysis and recommendations.

  3. Create, publish and monitor social media posts on a range of platforms, including reporting on defined success metrics and undertaking relevant research and providing analysis and recommendations.

  4. Create and update marketing materials and assets for internal use in a range of media as required.

  5. Create and update marketing materials and assets for external use in a range of media as required.

  6. Create, implement, monitor and report on marketing and promotional campaigns.

  7. Support the Products Team with product launches.

  8. Support colleagues with event planning.

Carry out research

  1. Carry out research to support potential new product development and existing product maintenance, including competitor analysis.

  2. Create surveys, monitor and analyse responses, and make recommendations as a result.

Provide administrative support

  1. Manage relevant email inboxes.

  2. Send regulatory emails as requested by Quality Managers and emails as requested by SMT.

  3. Review and update internal and external documents, forms, templates etc, following brand guidelines.

  4. Develop and maintain a library of relevant online and offline publications.

  5. Build and maintain working relationships with suppliers, agencies and freelancers.

  6. Schedule, service and participate in meetings, including booking rooms and note-taking.

  7. Provide general administrative support.

Other Responsibilities

  1. Participate in project teams as required.

  2. Undertake professional updating and training as required.

  3. Continually review and implement improved working practices and processes.

  4. Perform any other reasonable duties as appropriate to the role.

Qualifications and Training

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (or equivalent) or above, to include English and Maths

  • Marketing qualification

  • Level 3 or above qualification/s

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working effectively across the marketing mix

  • Experience of carrying out research, reporting, and making recommendations

  • Good knowledge of analytic platforms

  • Good knowledge of search engine optimisation

  • Experience of using ICT including Microsoft applications, databases, email marketing platforms, CMS and social media

  • Understanding of regulatory regimes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Evidence of ongoing skills development

  • Experience of using analytic platforms

  • Experience of working in regulatory regimes
